Android has crossed another landmark with the launch of first ever Android store. This feat has just been performed by Telstra Mobile in Melbourne, Australia. This first Android store was launched with the name of Androidland and would be equipped with everything and anything related to Android. The store would have Android based devices such as smartphones and tablets and users would be able to have a hands on experience of everything related to Android. For example, you would be able to play games on big screen, have an experience of the most exciting Android applications and would be able to discuss your problems and concerns with the Android experts that would be present on the store. Warwick Bray, the executive director of Telstra Mobile, said that over the last few months the number of people getting interested in Android devices has increased enormously. Due to this widespread attention, there was a need for a dedicated Android store which could provide guidance about everything Android. This store aims to do this and hopefully there would be such initiatives in other parts of the world as well. The store, other than the conventional display of the products, would also allow hands on experience with the devices.
