iPad 3 rumors

The upcoming model of iPad is the center of speculation and rumors these days. The reference to iPad 3 was found in the latest version of iOS and it seems that the release of this much awaited product is not more than a few months away. Rumor has it that the new iPad would be having a slightly thicker design compared to the previous versions and most importantly, it would have much better display. Various references to this device named “iPad 3,3” were found referring to it with its ‘vendorID’, ‘deviceID’ and other details.

Not only this, there are references to “iPad 2,4” which according to most people could be an updated version of the current iPad 2 with the enhancements of LTE support or WiMax technology. From the reliable sources, it is quite evident that Apple is working on two different version of iPad 3, one of which might be a mini version with display size of about 7.85 inches. Besides, various tech giants, among them being Samsung and Sharp, have been striving to achieve the standard set by the famous Retina Display of iPhone 4S, which would most probably be part of iPad 3 as well. This display resolution of 2048×1536 would be a considerable enhancement over iPad 2 whose display was merely 1024-by-768. Finally, the code of iOS 5.1 also refers to an updated version of Apple TV.
