When Apple released their iPad, the tablet market came to rise. Months after, most of the gadget manufacturers unveiled their own versions and offered alternatives to iPad.

The good thing about this Tablet war is the availability of more options to Tablet customers. Options vary according to Tablet’s price, technical specifications and the credibility of the manufacturer. Here are some points that you may refer to when you feel you want to buy iPad2 or any of its alternatives.

When we look at the technical specifications of each tablet, everyone has at least one unique feature for itself. For example, the LG’s G-Slate, it has two rear-facing cameras best for 3D video recording. From iPad2, it runs through iOS, the OS unique to Apple products while Playbook RIM is based on BlackBerry OS, an OS claimed to be business friendly platform. And to cut some of Apple iPad2 market share, some tablets were priced in as low as US$199.99, Samsung Galaxy Tab. But the LG priced its G-Slate Tablet excessively higher than all others; T-Mobile is distributing it for US$750 if not tied up to T-Mobile’s service plan. Maybe, T-Mobile is trying to position the G-Slate with a different perspective.

If you are more concerned about the price war of tablets, you would surely vie for the cheapest Tablet with great technical specifications. However, there is a saying that people should pay for the price of quality. It may hold true for some, but not always for everyone.
