Samsung has set to launch its ultrathin Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 inch in Australia as it partners with Vodafone this May.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, awarded the title the thinnest tablet in the world, has finally arrived on the market. Measuring 0.33 inch in thickness, it has surpassed Apple iPad2 with 0.34 inch. Aside from this characteristics, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is proud for offering support for Adobe Flash Player 10.2 which Apple iPad2 doesn’t have.
In terms of quality performance, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 technical specifications raises more expectations than other tablets. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features Samsung TouchWiz as user interface. Samsung Galaxy Tab uses Android 3.0 Honeycomb as operating system and it is powered by 1GHz dual core processor.
The slate comes in variation of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, and has a support for microSD up to 32GB capacity. With such high storage capacity, users could store more ebooks and applications, maximizing the usage and value of this device. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is pre-loaded with Readers Hub, Music Hub, and Social Media Hub, integrates email, instant messaging, calendar organizer, and social networks.
When you buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, you buy a device that has everything needed in this technology driven world. With Galaxy Tab’s 10.1 inch display, users can enjoy an instant entertainment experience, watch videos or play music. It has 3 megapixel rear-facing camera, enhanced with autofocus and LED flash for better captured moments. As for videos, the 8.0 megapixel rear camera is best in capturing motions.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 US price is almost same with competitors’. WiFi enabled 16GB and 32GB are priced at $499 and $599 respectively in the US, while 64GB price is to be announced, as well as information about 3G and 4G versions.
Vodafone Australia already allow clients to make pre-orders. The price of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia is AU$729 with a prepaid 6GB data included, or you can buy Galaxy Tab for free if you sign a 24 months contract with Vodafone for data plans starting from AU$39. In both cases it is not specified the storage version of Galaxy Tab 10.1, so we can only assume Vodafone offers at this money the cheapest Galaxy Tab with 3G capabilities, the model with 16 GB storage.
